A Paisley Collection Series
The Abbey town of Paisley occupies a unique position in Scottish history. This Collection aims to bring together contemporary eighteeenth and nineteenth century accounts and reviews of the evidence of the rapid expansion of culture and industry - which made the town eponymous with the cotton trade across the world - together with other works reflecting the social life of the inhabitants.
